Monuments

1.Roman catholic church

The Roman Catholic church with a single nave and a tower above the façade was built between 1882 and 1884 in honour of Saints Peter and Paul. The previous church in the village was burnt down in the fire of 1839 and rebuilt between 1882-84, but in 1887 a great storm broke the steeple. Not only the church building, but also the furnishings are eclectic in style.

The altarpiece, painted by Károly Lotz, was completed in 1890, while the ceiling of the sanctuary also dates from the end of the 19th century.

2.Reformed church

The Reformed church was built next to the Roman Catholic church between 1899 and 1914, probably on the site where the village church and its old wooden bell tower with its bell were destroyed in the fire of 1839.

The Reformed Church is an eclectic building with a single nave and a straight end.

3.Greek Catholic Church

The Greek Catholic church of our village was built in 2023. In this modern building, the faithful of the Greek Catholic Church of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania can practice their religion in dignified conditions.
