11/2025.(XI. 27.) municipal decree of the Representative Body of the Local Government of Mérk Nagyközség
Amending Decree No 12/2021(IX.29.) on municipal assistance and other social benefits
[1] The Representative Body of Mérk Nagyközség on the basis of the authorisation received pursuant to Section 10 (1) paragraph 10 and Section 132 (4) paragraph g) of Act III of 1993 on Social Administration and Social Benefits,
[2] acting in its capacity as defined in Section 8a of Paragraph (1) of Article 13 of Act CLXXXIX of 2011 on Local Governments of Hungary amending Decree No. 12/2021(IX.29.) on Settlement Support and Other Social Benefits, hereby decrees the following:

(1) Paragraph (2) of Article 14 of Municipal Decree 12/2021 (IX. 29.) on settlement support and other social benefits shall be replaced by the following provision:
„(2) In the event of an emergency, the extraordinary municipal aid shall be granted in kind, in the form of a food package, in the amount of HUF 20,000 per package per applicant.”
(2) Paragraph (4) of Article 14 of Municipal Decree 12/2021 (IX. 29.) on settlement support and other social benefits shall be replaced by the following provision:
„(4) Once a year, the mayor may, ex officio, in the case of an emergency situation, grant aid to a property owner permanently residing in Mikkeli who has not submitted an application pursuant to Article 14 (1) in the given year, if the Government of Hungary has declared an emergency situation for any reason. This aid shall be granted in kind in the form of a food parcel, up to a maximum gross amount of HUF 20,000 per parcel per property. Only one person is eligible for the aid per property in Mikkeli, regardless of the number of owners of the property and the number of persons and families living in the property.”

This Regulation shall enter into force at 15.40 on 27 November 2025.
