Description of the project content
Through the implementation of the project, the municipality's fundamental objective is to develop the economy based on internal resources, which will contribute to the retention of jobs and stimulate job creation. The investment will contribute to the municipality's small-scale production of products and the development of logistics linked to the short supply chain, which will improve the efficiency of the delivery of local agricultural products to local markets.
The development will mainly provide improvements to the infrastructure conditions for storage and sorting, which will improve the operating environment for local businesses, support job retention and creation, and strengthen cooperation and supplier links between rural and urban areas.
The Municipality of Mérk Nagyközség received a non-repayable EU grant of 100% under the Operational Programme for Spatial and Urban Development.
